Manufacture CT

Manufacture CT is a membership organization in Connecticut serving students, professionals, leaders, and government officials shaping the future of one of the state’s most vital industries. They host events and programs focused on community, advocacy, professional development, and updates on the latest industry news and regulations. Founded in 1913 as the New Haven Manufacturers Association, they are one of the longest-standing manufacturing associations in the country.

The Starting Point

When I first started working with Manufacture CT, they were still known as The New Haven Manufacturers Association. Their branding was outdated and didn’t fully reflect the innovative members, statewide presence, or the advocacy work that had grown over the years.

The Direction

The goal was to rebrand the organization as Manufacture CT, creating a visual identity that represented a statewide network of innovative manufacturers. The messaging was designed to evolve with the industry, turning a stale, outdated brand into one that felt current, innovative, and in tune with the times. This also meant increasing visibility—showcasing the organization’s work and members, much of which had previously gone unnoticed by the public.

Impact

The new social channels and marketing materials drove month-to-month visibility and engagement. Highlighting members increased awareness of the vital work they do across the state, making manufacturing a more attractive industry for young professionals. The momentum from the rebrand also helped attract new members and elevate the organization’s presence. During COVID, we helped ManufactureCT showcase how Connecticut manufacturers pivoted to produce PPE, fostering pride and recognition across the state.
